Tim Keller began a talk asking the audience to imagine coming home and pulling from your mailbox a very official looking envelope, and inside written on seemingly very official letterhead, a letter informing you that a distant relative has left you millions of dollars from their estate…just call the number below. I’m sure that many of us would immediately think, “this is a scam…” But…you would probably look into it; wouldn’t you? Even though there is a 1% chance that this is legitimate…but you couldn’t just ignore it, could you? Why? Because the offer is just too great not to look into it!
