Who is responsible for the death of Jesus? Throughout the centuries many have sought to attribute the crucifixion of Christ to the hands of a certain person or class of people. But is this accurate? Is only one person or group of people responsible for the death of the Messiah, while the rest stand guilt free of this heinous act? For some, this makes sense, since the death of Jesus happened over two millennia ago, and thus no contemporary individual or group could be culpable of an act that happened so long ago.
