I'll Send the Helper
We live in a culture that repudiates, condemns, and decries language like, “sin,” “judgement,” and ‘condemnation.” We are told that making people feel guilty or shameful, or wrong , hinders someone from good self-esteem and we should rather make people feel good regardless of their personal decisions. People are generally good, we are told, and the highest virtue is to love people despite their religious convictions concerning what is considered right and wrong. What’s wrong for someone may not be felt the same way by another…and that’s ok…
The irony however is pretty thick…By protesting against the conviction to preach against sin, one is at the same time preaching against “their view of sin…”
But we expect this from the world…but for us Christians, what should our response be to such topics? Tune in today as Will leads us through these convicting truths from John 16:5-15.
